Asif Ali signed by St Kitts & Nevis Patriots for CPL 2021
Pakistan’s mid-order batsman, Asif Ali has been signed by St Kitts & Nevis Patriots for the 2021 edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
Starting his international career back in 2018, the power hitter has gathered 382 and 344 runs in ODIs, T20Is respectively at a strike rate of 121.7 and 123.7.
He also has been representing Northern in the domestic arena alongside rendering his services to Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Discussing CPL, Asif earlier represented Jamaica Tallawahs but got released in the lately held CPL 2021 draft.
Patriots made full use of the opportunity to stable their middle-order picking up Asif to blow opponent’s bowlers hitting at distinct projectiles. He will be in action with big names from the world including the likes of Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, Evin Lewis, and many more.
It is pertinent to mention that the player has remained a respected part of the International Cricketers Association (ICA) for a long tenure from now on.
