Pakistan fast bowler Sohail Khan joins ICA
London: Pakistan Test fast bowler Sohail Khan has joined International Cricketers Association (ICA) family as one of its key players on a star-studded roster.
Sohail will now be represented by ICA in all his professional engagements. This means ICA will create opportunities for him with regards to his playing engagements and commercial endorsements, apart from speaking engagements and other appearances.
ICA was founded by Moghees Ahmed, who has been an experienced sports marketing professional who has created opportunities for players in leagues around the globe, created value for sponsors and has enhanced commercial capacities of all the clients. The roster of ICA also includes current Pakistan head coach and chief selector of Pakistan, Misbah-ul-Haq, former Pakistan T20 captain Mohammed Hafeez, former off-spinner Saeed Ajmal and a whole host of other stars.
The 36-year-old right arm bowler Sohail has been in the mix for close to 11 years since his debut in 2009. He has featured in nine Tests, 13 ODIs and five Twenty20 Internationals for Pakistan. He was thrilled to team up with his current and former Pakistan teammates.
“I have been amazed at the commitment of Moghees Bhai in running this agency. I am certain that with his experience he will help create a lot of value for me in all aspects of my career,” said Sohail.
On his part Mr Ahmed welcomed Sohail to the ICA family and assured him complete support.
“It is all thanks to my extensive travel and my friendship with stakeholders across the board that has helped me in being involved in various capacities in the sport that we all love so much. I am glad that Sohail has joined us. We are building towards creating greater capacities and providing maximum value for our talents,” said Mr Ahmed.
