Sri Lankan All-Rounder Dushan Hamentha Gets Picked by Dambulla Giants in LPL Draft:

28-year old Sri Lankan All-Rounder, Dushan Hemantha got picked by Dambulla Giants in the Lankan Premier League 2022 draft. Hemantha is a leg-spinning all-rounder who can provide valuable runs with the bat, and can be a challenge to face when he is bowling.

In his 41-Match T20 career, he has a strike rate of 123 with the bat. He has taken 20 wickets in his career as well at an impressive economy rate of just 6.61. He has also featured in 32 First Class matches and 39 List A games as well. He has 2 centuries in his First Class career while one hundred in his List A career as well that proves his batting potential.

Dushan was picked in the Sri Lankan silver category of the draft of LPL 2022. Chairman of the ICA, Sheikh Moghees Ahmed congratulated Dushan on his selection and wished him best of luck for the mega event beginning later this month.
